The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of New Jersey (AASP/NJ, the state’s largest association of collision and mechanical repairers) are looking forward to a record turnout this weekend as the association’s flagship event, NORTHEAST™ 2010, takes place at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, NJ.
“All signs are pointing to the most successful show we have had in years,” says AASP/NJ President Jeff McDowell. “To have more booths, more pre-registered attendees and more vendors than we have had in quite some time are really incredible considering the economy. We are very, very excited.”
NORTHEAST™ 2010 is also showing increases in training classes as well as hotel rooms booked for the show. “We have over 20 seminars scheduled, along with Family Fun Day, which is a treat for the entire family on Sunday afternoon,” McDowell adds. “There is something for everyone in the automotive services industry at NORTHEAST™ 2010.”
This is the second year that AASP/NJ has featured the New Jersey Gasoline/C-Store/Automotive Association, and the partnership has grown the show even more. “Working with the NJGCA has been a pleasure,” McDowell says. “Bringing in so many automotive-related vendors and trainers while also showcasing our event to the convenience store and petroleum markets makes NORTHEAST™ 2010 a one-
of-kind show for the region. It is the one place the automotive service industry can not only see the latest technology, but also be trained and certified in order to be qualified to own and operate that technology. And, this year, maybe even find some time to dunk some of us in the dunk tank during Family Day!”
Show hours during NORTHEAST™ 2010 are Friday, March 19, 5-10pm, Saturday, March 20, 10am-5pm and Sunday, March 21, 10am-3pm. For more details on NORTHEAST™ 2010, please visit www.aaspnjnortheast.com.
