AASP/NJ Announces 2024 New Jersey Automotive Survey Launch

10.14.24 – The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of New Jersey (AASP/NJ) understands the importance of keeping up with trends and challenges that constantly come about in this evolving industry. One of the many ways AASP/NJ keeps its finger on the pulse is by surveying repair professionals through the association’s official publication, New Jersey Automotive. The 2024 installment of the NJA Industry Survey is now open, with AASP/NJ members invited to share some information about their daily shop lives.

New Jersey Automotive conducts the annual Industry Survey every fall, giving members of the Garden State automotive community an opportunity to speak their mind about their experiences in the collision and mechanical repair world. The industry survey has become an anticipated activity every year, with the information gathered presented in New Jersey Automotive every December. All submitted answers remain anonymous.

The annual survey is known to pick up on interesting tidbits about the industry. For example, it’s no secret the industry is beginning to age out, and the 2023 survey results had 98 percent of survey takers respond that their oldest employee had a birth date prior to 1973. The year prior, that number was only 86 percent. This year’s survey will pick repairers’ brains about EV preparedness, AI usage and much more.

“It’s always enlightening to see which insurers repair shops have the most issues with,” says AASP/NJ Executive Director Charles Bryant.

Addressing AASP/NJ members and NJA readers directly, he adds, “Your opinions matter, and we want to learn more about your shop. Your feedback will help shed some light on the issues being faced by repairers today.”

AASP/NJ members can visit THIS LINK to complete the NJA Industry Survey, which closes on October 31, 2024. Results will be featured in the December issue of New Jersey Automotive, available at grecopublishing.com.
