AASP/NJ to Present Estimating Accuracy Essentials Workshop Next Month
1.13.25 – Ensuring its commitment to provide the information and resources necessary to succeed in this challenging industry, the Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of New Jersey (AASP/NJ) is proud to kick off its educational program for 2025 with a new estimating workshop designed to help maximize repair planning success. The “Estimating Accuracy Essentials 2025″ workshop will be held Wednesday, February 5 from 3pm to 9pm at Indasa USA Academy in Fairfield, NJ.
John Niechwiadowicz (QLC, Inc.) and Jerry McNee (Ultimate Collision Repair, Inc. Edison, NJ and AASP/NJ Collision Chairman) will team up once again to bring this new iteration of their highly collaborative and interactive estimating symposium to the AASP/NJ community.
This extensive session will include an estimate exercise and results review which will include a job costing discussion, current repair planning documentation trends and how to double down on fundamentals. McNee and Niechwiadowicz will address why a one-page repair plan just isn’t insufficient in today’s work and will address vital industry intel such as the latest results from the Society of Collision Repair Specialists’ (SCRS) Blend Study.
“This will be a truly eye-opening experience for everyone who attends,” says McNee. “It’s easy to think we’ve got it all figured out, but sticking to the same routines won’t lead to progress. To grow, we must step beyond our four walls and discover what’s possible. This is a class you simply can’t afford to miss. You’ll walk away with fresh insights and actionable knowledge that will elevate your business to the next level.”
“Attending John and Jerry’s estimating class back in 2019 opened my mind to so much new knowledge,” attests Brad Crawford of Livingston Collision. “It reinforced the saying, ‘You don’t know what you don’t know,’ as it revealed new and exciting line items that add significant bottom-line value. Jerry and John’s insight and the opportunity to learn how our industry peers are writing estimates made this class an invaluable experience for refining processes and maximizing profitability.”
“We’re looking forward to exchanging ideas, successes and best practices on steps that attendees can take the very next day to increase their average RO, more accurately reflect the operations being performed and improve their overall sales and profitability without repairing a single extra vehicle!” adds Niechwiadowicz.
AASP/NJ is grateful to the following sponsors for their generous support of this event; Central Paint, Matthew’s Auto Supplies, Metropolitan Car-o-liner and Reliable Automotive Equipment.
