***Course will fulfill NJ-MVC Auto Body License Renewal Requirement***
8.17.26 – Continuous training is vital toward safe and proper repairs, especially in today’s collision repair environment. With this in mind, the Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of New Jersey (AASP/NJ) will offer “Vehicle Safety Inspections: A Shop Perspective” on September 24 at Dashlight Solutions (Wall Township, NJ).
This training course on this timely and crucial subject will count toward 2026 NJ-MVC Auto Body License renewal due at the end of September. Attendees will receive a certificate to be used for this requirement.
This discussion is ideal for shop owners, managers, estimators, technicians and anyone involved in the repair process. Topics will include inspection procedures, repair planning, ADAS and calibration considerations, documentation best practices and potential safety concerns that can impact customers and repairers.
Supplying valuable education opportunities for collision and mechanical repair professionals is at the forefront of AASP/NJ’s mission. This month, they will offer two free virtual webinars to its members. On Wednesday, August 19, Matt DiFrancesco, CExP (High Lift Financial & Consulting) will present “Building a Business That Gives You Options”. On Wednesday, August 26, Kenneth Pollin, Technical Sales Specialist (NAPA Auto Parts) will give “Turning TPMS & Alignment into Reliable Profit Centers.”
