9.16.24 – The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of New Jersey (AASP/NJ) always sets out to make its Annual Meeting a night to remember, and this year is surely no different! AASP/NJ is excited to announce that this year’s evening of camaraderie, recognition and fun will once again feature an appearance by legendary New Jersey comedian Rich Vos at Gran Centurions in Clark, NJ on October 23, beginning at 6pm.

Vos has made over 100 television appearances, including four specials on Comedy Central, and has been seen on HBO, HBO Max, Netflix, Showtime and Starz. He has produced and starred in the documentary “Women Aren’t Funny,” appeared in Judd Apatow’s “King of Staten Island,” served as a writer for the Academy Awards and hosted Woodstock 99, among other events. Vos can be heard on numerous top podcasts, including “The Joe Rogan Experience.”  He also hosts the hit podcast “My Wife Hates Me” with his comedian wife Bonnie McFarlane.

“Last year’s event was such a huge success with members of the automotive community who have been talking about it ever since, so it was a no-brainer to bring Vos back for another night of fun,” relays AASP/NJ President Ken Miller. “The Annual Meeting provides a chance for us all to take a night off from the busy day-to-day, sit back and have some laughs and enjoy a night among our peers. We look forward to seeing everyone there!”

A true night of celebration and recognition, AASP/NJ will also present the 2024 Russ Robson Scholarship Award, which is given annually to an up-and-coming employee of a member shop, and the Stan Wilson/New Jersey Automotive Body Shop of the Year Award, given to a deserving member shop, in addition to conducting its annual Board of Directors elections.

Member shops in good standing pay one fee of $35 to attend, while non-members pay $75 each. Dinner will be included.
