With their finger ever on the pulse of the industry, the Alliance of Automotive Services Providers of New Jersey (AASP/NJ) consistently seek out the top automotive repair experts to gather at the Annual NORTHEAST Automotive Services Show to discuss the hottest topics affecting shop owners today. At the 2016 show, held March 18-20 at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, NJ, the association has invited representatives from the country’s top manufacturers to gather and talk about one of the most pressing issues pervading the field today – OEM certification programs.

Whether your question involves what investments you should make in your equipment, what training you should look into and where it is held, how to market yourself once you are certified, the differences in certification for aluminum and steel, what OEM program is best for you or anything else, this panel will provide the answers. With representatives from Ford, Nissan, Audi, Honda and more in a discussion led by Assured Performance Network’s Aaron Clark, the presentation will provide all of the information you need to take the most effective steps to becoming certified.

“Our industry is becoming increasingly specialized, and in a time when it’s so hard to get proper reimbursement from insurers for the work that we do, it’s nice to have a leg up in negotiations,” AASP/NJ Jeff McDowell explains. “Being on an OEM certification program is exceedingly useful when demanding insurers pay you what you’re worth. Unfortunately, not a lot of guys know where to get started, so we thought putting this panel of experts together would be the greatest benefit to those who attend the show. We’re proud that the NORTHEAST show has become the event to bring all of these manufacturers together in our region for the first time to discuss this hugely impactful topic.”

Space for this highly anticipated demonstration is limited, so it is important to sign up for the show as soon as possible to be one of the first ones updated when registration for the OEM panel opens up.

AASP/NJ’s 39th Annual Automotive Services Show will be held March 18-20 at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, NJ. Free registration for the show is now open at tinyurl.com/NE16reg. To find out more about the show, visit aaspnjnortheast.com.
