2.24.20 – The NORTHEAST® Automotive Services Show is just weeks away and the Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of New Jersey (AASP/NJ) is gearing up for the most exciting weekend of the year.

From March 20 to 22, automotive professionals from different parts of the US will make their way to the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, NJ to take in all the offerings of the largest regional industry show in the country. The show provides the best opportunity to experience critical education with its Collision Professional Repairer Education Program (Collision P.R.E.P.) provided through AASP/NJ’s partnership with the Washington Metropolitan Auto Body Association (WMABA), top-of-the-line equipment and products, innovations and more.

When not busy taking Collision P.R.E.P. classes or walking the trade show aisles, there is much to see and do in and around the exposition center, including the brand-new American Dream, the country’s largest state-of-the-art indoor theme park and second-largest indoor mall located just five minutes away in East Rutherford.

NORTHEAST attendees can spend daytime hours at the American Dream on Friday (prior to the opening of the show at 5pm) or take in some of its activities after the show ends on Saturday (at 5pm) or Sunday (at 3pm).

One of the main features at American Dream is BIG SNOW, North America’s first and only real-snow, indoor, year-round ski and snowboard resort that boasts 180,000 square feet (including 15,000 square feet of slopes that can accommodate up to 500 people). BIG SNOW is open from 10am to 10pm daily.

Icy cold adventures continue at The Rink, an NHL regulation sized ice rink available for hockey and figure skating activities.

Nickelodeon Universe can provide hours of family fun. This indoor theme park offers a variety of rides and in-person appearances by SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Blue from Blue’s Clues.

There is also a three-floor 22,000 square foot department store devoted solely to those with a sweet tooth. IT’SUGAR is a must-see for candy, gifts and novelties. Visitors won’t want to miss the opportunity to take a photo with a jelly bean-covered Statue of Liberty replica and the first-floor lollipop garden.
