Exclusive Custom Painting and Vehicle Wrapping Demos On Tap for NORTHEAST®

AASP/NJ’s 38th annual NORTHEAST 2015 Automotive Services Show is pulling out all the stops this year to ensure a unique trade show experience for all who attend. In that spirit the Alliance of Automotive Service Providers/New Jersey (AASP/NJ) will bring back custom painter extraordinaire Javier Soto for his second appearance at NORTHEAST. The association will also debut a show-length demonstration of custom vehicle wrapping by Wrapmasters East. The NORTHEAST 2015 Automotive Services Show will be held March 20, 21 and 22, 2015 at the Meadowlands Exposition Center (MEC) in Secaucus, NJ.

“We’re always on the lookout for things to interest longtime attendees, as well as first timers,” says AASP/NJ President Jeff McDowell. “Last year, Javier was such a hit, our post-show feedback demanded we bring him back.”

Soto has been custom painting for over 20 years and has taught alongside airbrush greats like Terry Hill, Craig Fraser and Steve Driscoll. A former head custom painter at Black Label Choppers a custom motorcycle shop in Dover, NJ, Soto has written many how-to articles, created three instructional DVD titles to date and has instructed for the Airbrush Action Getaways. His work has been featured in many publications and television shows from Minitruckin’ Magazine to America’s Next Top Model.

Wrapmasters East will spend the weekend demonstrating one of the industry’s hottest repair techniques, custom vehicle wrapping. “Vehicle wrapping is something that is rapidly becoming very popular as an add-on feature at many shops,” McDowell states. “Several of our members have mentioned this as something they would like to see up close, and what better place to show them then at NORTHEAST?”

As the show moves closer to selling out exhibitor space for a second consecutive year, McDowell wants to remind everyone to “sign up soon or miss out on something special. There’s nothing like NORTHEAST on this side of the country. You don’t want to be left out!”
