Time Running Out for Booth Space at AASP/NJ’s 40th Annual NORTHEAST® Automotive Services Show

Time and space is running out for companies looking to take part in the country’s largest regional Automotive Services show, NORTHEAST 2017. The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of New Jersey (AASP/NJ)’s 40th Annual signature event is days away from selling out its over 65,000 square foot show floor taking place March 17-19 at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, NJ.

AASP/NJ President Jeff McDowell is not surprised. “With the way the show has been growing since we came back to New Jersey eight years ago,” he says from his Fords, NJ shop, “I’d be surprised if we weren’t having the success we are. We started utilizing maybe half the arena when we first got here, and now we’re bursting at the seams. We appreciate all the vendors who are participating, and all who are expressing interest in joining us for the first time. We wish we could accommodate all of them. Next year…” he says with a smile on his face.
NORTHEAST 2017 will be packed from wall to wall with sponsors BASF (platinum), Ford (Gold), American Honda Motor Co. (Silver), the Flemington Group (Silver) and Axalta Coating Systems (Door Prizes), as well as leading tool, equipment and service providers from throughout the automotive service industry.

“Just about anything that you need to repair a vehicle will be available at the show,” McDowell adds. “We are extremely fortunate that we have reached a point where vendors come to us as soon as the show ends to lock in their space for the next year, so they can get their products out to the repairers. In fact, we already have a waiting list that we are encouraging vendors to get on in case some space opens up. Last year, we moved over 5,000 attendees through the show so. That’s a lot of potential buyers for a weekend event. Our vendors know the value in that, especially since we are a buyer’s show. Our attendees drive in and spend the money they save from not having to travel. It’s a win-win for everyone.”
